Workshop Overview and Objectives
Welcome to Part 1of Live Long & Live Strong Core Essential workshop!
In this engaging 3-hour workshop, you'll master essential movement techniques and cues critical for building core stability. We'll focus on core exercises that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and enhance functional everyday movement.
By the end of the session, you'll gain a deeper understanding of why training foundational core movements is vital to master before progressing to advanced techniques such as adding load, increasing speed, exploring multiple planes of movement, and multi-vector training. You'll leave equipped with practical tools and strategies to seamlessly integrate these principles into your daily routine for lasting health and wellness.
Key Lesson Concepts:
- Learn the 6 basic movement patterns for the core
- Learn how to apply multi-vector training to the basic core movements in order to gain strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility
If you are wanting to practice the exercises, we recommend that you have a mat, stability ball, small ball, weights, a loop band and a long band ready. We would also recommend that you print off the course notes to help guide you through this workshop.
In order for you to receive your 4-Continuing Education Credits, a passing grade of 80% is required on the quiz.
