Workshop Overview and Objectives
Welcome to Part 2 of Live Long & Live Strong Core Essential workshop!
Part 2 of the Live Long & Live Strong workshop focuses on essential movement patterns to strengthen both the upper and lower body. Building on the training methods introduced in Part 1, we’ll apply those same principles to new exercises targeting these areas.
You’ll start by mastering foundational movements for the upper and lower body, then gradually progress to more advanced techniques — including adding resistance, increasing speed, moving through multiple planes of motion, and incorporating multi-vector training.
These exercises are designed to improve posture, build strength, and enhance mobility and stability — helping you move better, feel stronger, and live functionally for years to come.
By the end of the session, whether you’re a fitness enthusiast or simply looking to improve your daily movements, you’ll leave equipped with practical tools and strategies to seamlessly integrate these principles into your routine for lasting health and wellness.
Key Lesson Concepts:
- Learn the 8 basic movement patterns for the upper and lower body
- Learn how to apply multi-vector training to the basic upper and lower body movements in order to gain strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility
If you are wanting to practice the exercises, we recommend that you have a mat, stability ball, small ball, weights, a loop band and a long band ready. We would also recommend that you print off the course notes to help guide you through this workshop.
